The 2018 MacBook Pro is considered to be a mid-cycle refresh to the MacBook Pro a1989 line-up. It features a 14 nm, 8th Generation “Coffee Lake” 2.3 GHz Intel “Core i5″ processor (8259U) as well as 8 GB of onboard 2133 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM.
Apple has stuck with the same storage options as the previous model (256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB) and has reserved dedicated graphics cards for the 15” models similar to MR942LL/A. While this MacBook Pro mid 2018 model also features 4 USB C ports as opposed to the 2 ports featured on the previous non-touch bar 13″ model.
